BICENTENNIAL OF MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE

Name of the Program: .........MORELOS: "SENTIMENTS OF THE NATION"
_________________________MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE BICENTENNIAL TOUR,

México City - Toluca - Tlapujahua - Morelia - Indaparapeo - Zinapécuaro - Acámbaro Santa Clara del Cobre - Pátzcuaro - Janítzio Island - Uruapan - Apatzingán - Ixtapa

An itinerary inspired on the action of Generalísimo José Maria Morelos y Pavón during the struggle for the Independence of Mexico, who'd rather preferred to be humbly called "Servant of the Nation" than to bear the pompous title of "His Highness" given to him by the Insurgents when he replaced Hidalgo as the Chief Commander of the Liberator Army.
His humble and patriotic attitude, his concern with the common wellbeing, made of him the most prestigious hero of Independence armed struggle, right after Hidalgo.
