Terms of Responsibility and General Conditions
TOUR
COMPANY:
The tour operation advertised herein is coordinated by VIAJES MARUATA
(Agencia de Viajes Maruata S.A. de C.V.) (T.O. hereafter) Federal
Tourism Registry Nr. 000004002671 and Michoacan State Tourism Registry
Nr. 116004053023.

PRICES:
Prices include:
Accommodation at the chosen hotels or at others of similar ranking
in rooms with private bath/shower; English speaking guide, specialist
on Mexican History, throughout; transportation by AC van or motor
coach according to the number of participants; transportation of
one (1) mid size cabin bag not exceeding 20 Kg (*), services and
visits as per itinerary; admission fees to the monuments where visits
are included; travel insurance (**); hotel service charge and governmental
taxes.
(*)
We strongly recommend passengers to carry a small bag only in order
to prevent transportation and storage problems. Passengers are fully
responsible for any expenses involved with the transportation of
any additional bag or to one exceeding the weight as per indicated.
Clients are fully responsible for the safe custody of luggage and
other personal possessions.
(**) "Welcome 20" limited travel insurance included. Please
consult us for details.
Prices do not include:
Visits, meals, routes, stops and services other than those as per
indicated, room-service, servi-bar, drinks at the meals, laundry,
telephone and other communication charges, personal tips, airport
luggage handling, airport taxes, air tickets, Visas and all personal
charges are not included.
DEPOSITS:

1st. deposit for 25% of total amount to confirm service;
* 2nd. deposit for 25% of total amount until 60 days prior to 1st
day of service;
* Final payment no later than 45 days prior to the 1st. day of service.
Important notices:
* Client fully accepts Terms of Responsibility and General
Conditions by paying the first deposit.
* All prices are correct at the time of publication and are
subject to change without notice. Selling prices will be adjusted
should governmental taxes be increased.
* If the client does not notify the T.O. for a cancellation
and does not pay the T.O. the balance of the price of the tour in
accordance with the conditions, the T.O. may by notice to the client
cancel the holidays after being confirmed. The deposit will be forfeited.
CANCELLATION FEES:
* Before 45 days prior to 1st day of service: $ 500.00 MN
(Mexican Pesos Five Hundred) per person will be charged;
* Between 44 and 30 days prior to 1st. day of service: $1,500.00
(Mexican Pesos One Thousand Five Hundred) per person will be charged;
* Between 29 and 21 days prior to 1st. day of service: 25%
of total amount per person;
* Between 20 and 14 days prior to 1st. day of service: 50%
of total amount per person;
* 13 days or less, prior to 1st. day of service until the
final: 100% charge.
ACCOMMODATION:
Accommodation in standard rooms with private bath/shower;
Hotel check in time: 15:00 Hrs; Check out time: 12:00 Noon, subject
to hotel policies;
Hotel ranking is free in Mexico, according to own hotel management's
criteria. Hotel classification herein given is based on the "Directorio
de Hoteles de Mexico", but using the letter system instead
of the star's:
PS- Superior First; P-First; TS-Superior Tourist; T-Tourist.
Triple and Quad. rooms:
Most hotels in Mexico do not have rooms with more than 1 or 2 beds.
Although we do our upmost to suite client requirements additional
bedding is not guaranteed.
In most cases three persons must share a two bedded room.
MINORS:
Some hotels do not accept reservations for minors. In programs featuring
hotels with these policies, due information is available.
HANDICAPPED PEOPLE:
Our programs for their specific features are not designed to accept
people with motor handicap.
GROUND SERVICES:
A professional English speaking guide, specialist in Mexican History,
will be your tour-director from arrival through departure. Should
the transportation be a tourist van (for the number of passengers
traveling) and the tour-director may be the driver as well.
Services are quoted for a minimum of 12 persons traveling together.
Should this number not be reached until 40 days before departure,
services will be canceled and a new option offered to the clients.
Should the new option not be accepted and paid monies will be refunded.
Passengers wishing to travel on different dates than those programmed
kindly contact us for availability and prices.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Both tours are coordinated by Viajes Maruata here in after referred
to as the T.O. However the T.O. acts only as agent for the tour
passengers and therefore assume no responsibility for any delay,
loss, damage, injury or accident with regard to persons or property
caused by fault or negligence of any hotel, transportation company,
or any other supplier involved in the services rendered. T.O. shall
not be responsible for any expense caused by loss or damage of personal
items. Although limited travel insurance is included in the program,
it is the passenger's responsibility to be fully insured. T.O. does
not assume responsibility for any additional expenses incurred by
passengers when an airline, hotel and other service supplier is
unable to provide any portion of the tour service assigned as part
of the tour. Payment of first deposit (or any other payment should
it be the case) constitutes passenger's total acceptance of Terms
and Conditions listed. T.O. reserves the right to make any changes
to the itinerary that might become necessary with the understanding
that any additional expenses will be paid by the passengers. T.O.
also reserves the right to terminate tour services for any passenger
at any time for good cause.
All rates are based on hotel and transportation tariffs at the time
of quoting and are subject to change without notice. IVA (VAT) and
lodging tax when applicable are those in force at the time of quoting.
Eventual increase on any of them will cause change in the selling
price.
The information contained in these programs are correct at the time
of publication, but such information is subject to alteration to
account of subsequent changes thereto.
